He is the Managing Partner and leads the Tax practice at Vimal Chand Jain & Co. He founded Vimal Chand Jain & Co., Chartered Accountants (in the year 1983), a leading full-service chartered accounting firm in India that currently has offices in five major cities.

He is well known for his expertise and have an experience of over 35 years in advisory, litigation and controversy issues related to Direct (including transfer pricing) and Indirect Taxes. He has advised various domestic and Indian conglomerates in sectors like financial services, manufacturing, trading and infrastructure projects. He has also been involved in making representations to the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Commerce in relation to various tax policy matters on behalf of numerous industry associations.

He in actively involved in conducting various seminars and work shops qua Indian Taxation for various Industry associations and on professional platforms. He has also written numerous articles on various Tax issues on many Finance magazines and Tax web sites.

He is a Partner in the Tax practice of Vimal Chand Jain & Co., focusing on Indirect taxes and Foreign Trade Policy. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary and his area of expertise include advisory and litigation matters relating to Indirect taxes.

He has worked extensively for various domestic and International conglomerates in successfully implementation of Goods and Services tax which ensured smooth transition from erstwhile Indirect tax regime. He in actively involved in conducting various seminars and work shops qua Goods and Services Tax for various Industry associations and on professional platforms. Prior joining Vimal Chand Jain & Co., he worked with one of the leading Tax consulting Company, Ernst and Young in their Indirect tax practice
